Anna’s Wedding

The day she’d been waiting for for so long came at last. Anna and Robert, in the presence of their family and friends, got married last Saturday. She looked like a princess in her long white dress and a veil upon her face, but the party in the evening was a complete failure, unfortunately. Honestly speaking, it was a disaster!

There were fifty guests from both families. Strange, but one of Robert’s uncles wanted to be in all the photographs. Anna’s brother said something very rude to him and suddenly, they started fighting. People shouted. Bottles flew through the air. Glasses, vases and flowers were thrown and some of the guests hid behind the tables, others under the tables. Some even ran away. Luckily, no one was badly hurt.

Finally, the police were called. They rushed to the restaurant, which was in the middle of the city, and they asked everyone questions. Then Anna’s brother and father were arrested and taken to the police station. They were not alone, though. Robert’s two brothers and his cousin were also arrested. And so was the uncle who made all the trouble in the first place. It was a day which Anna will never forget all her life.
